The Friars Mill Campus comprises of four buildings which successfully combine the history of Leicester’s oldest factory with distinctly contemporary features.
Friars Mill, formerly the home of Donisthorpe, has been sympathetically redeveloped to combine 15 workspaces of between 603 and 1970 square feet, with meeting spaces, breakout areas and the Boiler House Café.
Bath Lane Mill offers three units totalling 4,500 square feet, including a penthouse unit with mezzanine that is flooded with natural light and provides the ‘wow’ factor. Connected to the Mill are three Bath lane Cottages, offering self-contained two storey space.
Of significant archaeological interest, the Pump House enjoys a riverside location, offering a self-contained and flexible office space with triple-aspect and a bat loft.
The Energy Centre provides heat, light and, as importantly, changing rooms and showers for commuters and lunchtime runners alike. Cycle lockers are also provided but, if lunchtimes are better enjoyed at a slower pace, outside terracing overlooking the Soar is ideal for relaxing on a warm day.
