Heroes of Leicestershire sought

The Leicester Mercury Events Team is proud to launch the Leicestershire Heroes Awards for 2016. These awards are all about recognising and rewarding the local people of Leicestershire who make this city the gret place it is. The Awards seek to reward individuals in the below categories and finalists will be invited to a glittering award ceremony on Thursday 28 July:

Categories are:

• Armed Services Award


•  Community Action Award


•  Bravery and courage Award


• Volunteer of the year


•  Overcoming hardship award


• Good Neighbour award


• Community Action award
